Insurers likely to focus more on term & endowment plans Economic Times
KOLKATA: MOST among the 14 life insurers have now individually decided to market more of the traditional non-Ulip products, since a final verdict on the Sebi-Irda spat is expected to take at least a few months. Some insurers are even planning to launch new traditional policies.Interestingly, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance is already planning to launch a version of Invest Plus — a traditional policy — some times next week to cash in on the expected rise in demand from the segment. Confirming the development, a Bajaj Allianz spokesperson said: “This is slated to be a very transparent traditional policy and is likely to be launched sometimes next week. Currently, there are about 8-10 non-Ulip policies in our portfolio.”
